vision for The view
Our vision is that our members would grow as disciples of Christ and be equipped, encouraged, and sent into their communities and contexts in order to proclaim Christ and the Gospel.
Exalt
We seek to exalt Jesus in everything we do.
Embrace
We seek to embrace one another and those that God has placed in our lives.
Engage
We seek to engage in the mission of God in the context and places that God has given us.
6 Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, 7 rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6-7
Sunday night worship
Every Sunday Night is an opportunity for students to gather together to worship the Lord and be encouraged and strengthened in their faith. Students can expect to engage in worship through song and prayer, a message in our current series, and fellowship. Our current series is Holy Habits where we are deeply engaging our need to cultivate habits that are eternally-minded and missionally-significant.
bible fellowship
Sunday mornings are a time where we gather and are more focused on interaction and growing together. We begin by having family breakfast in the Fellowship Hall from 9-9:30am, and then head to The View Room for Bible Fellowship. We operate more like small groups during this time, where there is much discussion collectively on the passage we are studying. It is a time that helps foster fellowship and unity. Our current series is How to Read and Interpret the Bible.
Serve
Our goal is that we would put our faith into action by following the model that Jesus gave and actively engage in serving and loving our neighbors and communities. There are many opportunities to serve, and we desire to fulfill them while sharing Jesus.
Monthly events
Every month, we have at least one event that is geared toward growing together as a group and developing deeper relationships with one another. They are strategic in helping our group advance in unity and discipleship.
