Since his call into the ministry at age 15, Steve’s passion has been for verse by verse exposition of God’s Word. His desire is to declare “the whole counsel of God,” by preaching verse by verse through the entire bible. His life verse is Galatians 2:20.

Don came to Oak View in September 2000. He is married to Teresa and has a daughter and three grandchildren.
Josh Tysinger
Minister of Education
Josh joined the church staff in July 2006 after serving two years with Campus Crusade. He is married to Casey and they have two children, Caiden and Hadley.
cameron brooks
Minister of College/Career
Cameron joined the staff in May 2015 and recently graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Cameron is married to Kayla and they have one child, Judah.
David vaughn

David joined the staff in July of 2023. He is married to Jill and they have two children, Sydney and Isaac.
susan brookshire
Preschool Director
Susan joined staff in August 2006. She also teaches at Vandalia Christian Academy in Greensboro. She has a son, Tyler.

Robin joined staff in April 1998 and serves in many different areas as well as being the Financial Secretary. She is married to Teddy and has a daughter Callie and son-in-law Robert.
