Weekend information

Activities begin on Friday evening with a rally.  Then you will join other students in your age group at one of our host homes.  You will spend the weekend sharing with one another in worship, Bible study, and fellowship.  This is an awesome time to get to know people and make new friends!


Erik Reed, is the Lead Pastor of The Journey Church in Lebanon, TN. He is also Founder & President of Knowing Jesus Ministries. They provide resources for growing in a daily walk with Jesus, withstanding the cultural pressures to conform, and equipping believers for sorrows and afflictions. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a B.A. in Religious Studies & Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a MDiv. Erik is married to Katrina and has three children: Kaleb (with the Lord), Kaleigh (11) and Kyra (7). He was previously our DNOW Speaker in 2014 & 2016.

There will be a very special parent session with Erik on Friday, Feb. 25 at 7:10 pm.


Nathaniel Gray, Student Worship Pastor at First Redeemer Church in Cumming, GA will be leading in worship through song. Nathaniel is from Bellwood, PA and has served in various worship roles since 2009. He attended Liberty University for a B.S. in Worship Music Studies while also traveling with YouthQuest. Through YQ, he was part of our DNOW in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He and his wife, Mikaela, married in 2014 and have two children, Sadie and Beckham. Nathaniel loves music, sports, movies, laughter, dreaming, board games, riddles, and spending time with family and friends.

small group

An IMPACT TEAM is a student-based ministry that is an extension of North Greenville University's Baptist Collegiate Ministry. BCM trains and deploys a variety of teams that serve churches like ours. They will be leading our DNOW small groups. There were previously part of DNOW in 2019 & 2021 and have ministered to OVBC girls during RENEW weekend since 2016.


Registration begins Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022. Bring a completed form and registration fee ($60) to the church or send by email and pay online. Deadline is Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
